While Alo's bistro ranked 97th in 2021 they recently jumped the ranks with the new rankings that came out this month (November 2022) so we had to try it as soon as possible. Wow are we glad we ever did! Not only was the service absolutely outstanding, including Chef Clara coming to our table and chatting with us a few times throughout our meal, but every single bite of the tasting menu was out of this world! In our previous experience with tasting menus we've always had notes on things we would have improved, but every single bite left us craving more while getting us full at the same time. We made reservations to return the next morning and also made reservations at Clara's partner's restaurant Mad House Pasta a bit further north on her recommendation.

Must try: The black garlic tortellini and the crispy duck
Downside: Genuinely none. The meal took a VERY long time, but we greatly enjoyed it and appreciated that the staff were closing down the kitchen and still did not rush us at all.
